I had the pleasure of doing a birthday photoshoot last weekend, and let me just say… it was definitely one for the books! 📸🥂✨

As I reflect on life, one thing I know for sure is this: LOVE YOURSELF. ❤️ Give yourself grace, embrace who you are, and never forget your worth.

Treat others the way you would want to be treated, spread kindness, and leave people better than you found them. Life is short, and none of us are promised tomorrow.

So while you’re here… make your mark, create the memories, love deeply, laugh often, and LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST! 💕✨

Here’s to another year of growth, purpose, happiness, and becoming the best version of me. 🥂🎂💐

This weekend marks the Altenbernd Foundation’s first official month.

The Foundation was established with a long-term vision: to build a new institution for contemporary art, beginning in Central Florida and expanding its presence over time.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has donated, encouraged, advised, connected with, and supported us during this first month. We are especially grateful for our early conversations with the City of Orlando, Orange County Government, United Arts of Central Florida, and the Orange County Library System.

We also extend our sincere thanks to The Good Pour College Park, Carina’s Cake, and AFPro Media for helping us celebrate and document our launch.

Our inaugural exhibition, planned for this winter, is beginning to take shape. We are engaging with artists and cultural partners and developing the curatorial and operational framework needed to present art responsibly to the public. Our Reading Room will continue to grow, our online store will launch in September, and new opportunities to participate in what we are building are on the way.

Thank you for being here at the beginning.

Donate, join us, subscribe to our newsletter, or learn more at altenberndfoundation.org.

*Recap from last week: The Altenbernd Foundation is working towards building a new home for contemporary art and art education, starting in Central Florida and eventually beyond. While we have a lot of work ahead of us, we are grateful for all the support thus far. On July 23rd, we celebrated our early milestones at our inaugural reception, surrounded by friends, family, and our board.
We were honored to celebrate it at Good Pour, with a wonderful cake from Carina's Cake, and the evening captured by AFProMedia.
Later that night, we even stumbled upon fireworks, the perfect way to end such a special evening.
We hope to welcome you at future events, and one day, in our own physical space.
Stay tuned for exciting news soon, and visit our website, altenberndfoundation.org.

Last night marked a very special beginning for the Altenbernd Foundation, as we held our inaugural reception and celebrated the launch of our mission to bring contemporary art, education, and meaningful exchange to Central Florida.

Opening a museum comes with challenges, and it is certainly not easy, but I have felt deeply supported by wonderful friends, family, and our current partners throughout this journey.

I am deeply grateful to our family, board members, friends, supporters, and partners who joined us for this milestone. Thank you to Good Pour (@goodpourgives) for hosting us, Carina’s Cake (@carinascake) for generously donating a wonderful bundt cake, and AFPRO Media (@afpromedia) for capturing the evening.

We are now ready to accept donations (www.altenberndfoundation.org/give) and will soon be launching our Patron Circle. In a few months, we will also host our first fundraiser and first-year public event. As we continue finalizing our core organizational structure, we look forward to offering free e-courses, in-person workshops, artist interviews, and more as we build toward our eventual museum dedicated to contemporary art.

Thank you to everyone who believes in this vision. Please visit our website to donate, sign up for our newsletter to receive updates, and learn how you can support our mission. I can’t wait to share our recent milestones soon—it’s looking very exciting.
