It’s almost that time of the year…

This was back in 2024 when I first hit the slopes. @malikthamartian showed me the ropes and the rest is history.

There’s something visceral and profoundly moving about being in the mountains. It’s a feeling I can’t quite put into words but I’m excited to experience it all over again this season.

BRB, adding A-Frame Club to our wedding venue crush list. 🏕️🍊

Michelle & Matt brought a little summer camp nostalgia and a whole lot of retro charm to their Winter Park wedding! Think modern A-frame cabins, a ceremony surrounded by towering pines, vibrant summer florals and playful mid-century modern details. Throw in a party animal seating chart, two very good pups and a reception bursting with personality, and you've got one seriously fun Colorado wedding! 🧡

Park the car. You might not need it again.
From your cabin at A-Frame Club, walk to the hot tubs. The sauna. Cold plunge. Owners lounge. Dinner and drinks at A-Frame Grill. Or hop on the seasonal ski shuttle and head for the mountain.
That’s one of my favorite things about this place: your A-frame isn’t the whole experience—it’s your home base for it.
No driving around town looking for parking. No loading everyone back into the car every time you want to do something. No second-home chores waiting for you when you arrive.
Just walk out your door and start enjoying Winter Park.

Yesterday, a friend messaged me with a link to an article featuring the Cozy Cardinal, and had to read it twice. They used our little A-frame (and me!) on the cover. I’m still shocked. It’s the same friend who clued me in last year!

We’ve poured so much work and love into this place, especially after the tornado and everything it took to keep moving forward. Seeing the Cozy Cardinal named one of Wisconsin’s coziest fall escapes for the second year in a row means so much.

Swipe through for a little tour of the place we’ve worked so hard on. And thank you, @onlyinyourstate, for featuring us!

If you’ve stayed in the Cozy Cardinal, what’s your favorite feature?

595 square feet. Not much wasted space.
Step inside one of the freestanding A-frames at A-Frame Club in Winter Park.
Designed by Skylab Architecture, each cabin comes fully furnished and equipped—with an upstairs king bedroom, soaking tub, radiant bathroom floors, Malm gas fireplace, kitchenette, gear storage, Samsung Frame TV, central heating + cooling, private entrance and outdoor space.
It’s compact by design, but it doesn’t feel like a hotel room—or a typical mountain condo.
And when you arrive? It’s ready.
No furniture shopping. No stocking a second home. No maintenance weekends. Just show up, drop your gear and start using it.

Can I only use my A-Frame 90 days a year?
Nope.
A-Frame Club owners have 90 days of annual owner occupancy included with ownership.
Want to spend more time in Winter Park? You can. After those 90 owner-use days, owners can stay in their own A-frame for a nominal fee, we are talking like $10 a night.
So the 90-day rule isn’t about telling you that you have to leave your cabin after 90 days. It’s part of how the property balances personal use with its hospitality and rental structure.
But also, were you really going to stay in your second home more than 90 days a year? A few of you have your hands up….we got you covered.
Come up for ski weekends. Spend part of the summer in the mountains. Use it for a last-minute getaway. And when you’re not there, your cabin can be part of the rental program.

What if buying a place in the mountains could also create a significant tax deduction?
For qualifying buyers, A-Frame Club may offer more than a place to spend time in Winter Park.
Because these cabins are fully furnished, income-producing properties, owners may be able to use cost segregation and accelerated depreciation to deduct a significant portion of their investment—potentially including 100% bonus depreciation on qualifying components under current tax law.
The key is timing, how the property is placed in service, how it’s used, and your individual tax situation.
This isn’t a tax loophole, and it isn’t a deduction every buyer will qualify for. It’s a legitimate part of the tax code that can make real estate ownership particularly interesting for the right investor.

These brides have our hearts forever ♥️

Fe & Emma had wildly different bridal beauty looks in mind, and we were so excited to bring them to life! Here’s what each lady requested for their bridal hair and makeup:

FE:

Textured boho braid with interested and dimension. Bronze, sun-kissed makeup. We designed her look all around her custom wedding hat and turquoise jewelry.

EMMA:

Emphasize brows, eyes and natural curly hair texture. We created an intentionally soft and feminine look to complement her elegant lace dress.

These two were just incredible to work with from start to finish — kind, reasonable, and purely good humans.

Congrats to you two!
