We found the coziest a-frame for our annual cabin weekend retreat!

📍@aframewi in Nekoosa, WI (less than 3 hours from the Twin Cities & Milwaukee - a great halfway point for us besties!)

A couple of years ago, we started a tradition to do a cabin retreat in January, just the two of us. We use it to reflect on the past year and come up with goals for the new year.

This modern wooded a-frame was just where we needed to be to disconnect and recharge. We got the cozy vibes of a cabin, but we were also close to Wisconsin Rapids where we were able to grab dinner and breakfast.

NEW ON THE BLOG (& POD 🎧) 🐾✨📝

🚙 Our pups, Pabst and Leine, are professional road trippers at this point. We covered some serious ground in 2024 and stayed in so many amazing places–making this by far the most difficult piece I have ever written.

‼️ Spoiler alert all of these stays are fabulous!

🤩 I listed them in a ranked order simply because we are always asked about our “favorites.” In reality, we can have a good time anywhere we can walk/hike, play board games, and read a good book…which is pretty much everywhere! Nonetheless, all of these places offer different experiences and their “ranking” is just my opinion and based on our/our dogs’ preferences. I would recommend each and every one of these stays!
