Jr wanted lasagna…again 🤷🏾‍♀️
I packed it with some extra veggies for added flavor and nutrition for my parents who need ways to sneak them in 😉

Lightly season your veggies of choice to include Roma tomatoes, onions, & garlic w/ salt & pepper and coat with avocado oil.
Roast at 425 degrees for about 30-45 min.
Combine roasted tomatoes, onions and garlic in food processor and add to cooked ground beef along with additional, organic tomato sauce of choice

Roasted Red-Wine Cajun Style lasagna Roll ups. Yes, this method takes a little more time but this is how I like to make lasagna. You end up using less ingredients by eliminating all the additional layering.
Comment if you’ll try this method next time you make lasagna☺️

GUM-boh (/mbo/) originating from 18th-century Louisiana, blending West African, Native American, and European traditions., reflecting a history of culinary resistance and cultural fusion. Made with homemade seafood stock, file (for authenticity), andouille sausage, wild caught shrimp, crab meat, fresh veggies, herbs and lots of love

Homemade Heart-shaped pretzels and beer cheese. I made for my kiddos during the Super Bowl. It turned out to be quite fitting with the overall message “The only thing more powerful than hate is love”.

Happy first day of black history month. Been asking myself “what’s going on?” A lot lately 😓😔
While we reflect on the contributions of our people with pride, honor dignity & hope, the irony that many more groups are facing similar injustices in 2026, is not lost on me.
Praying for all the brave souls using their voices/platforms to speak up and spread awareness. Especially those taking to the streets.

Have yall tried these?👀🍔
This was a gift from one of her grandmas. We had to get on YouTube for a step by step because the packet instructions are in Japanese and she had already thrown the original box away…it was super simple to follow though and I was really impressed by the soda fizzing and actually smelling like a cola 😭 very cute lol
I pray everyone is staying safe and staying warm 🙏🏾❄️

A little Creole, a little Caribbean. A lot of flavor 🤤
Comment “recipe” to get it!

Health tip: to reduce bloating and gas that come from eating a lot of beans, boil them for about an hr, drain, rinse, then add fresh water back to finish cooking. Get confident about eating beans again. Don’t let them tear you up lol

Savory Red Wine Pot Roast| Roasted Butternut Squash Puree | Broccolini

Sundays are for slowing down and resetting with a good home cooked meal and this was the perfect way to wine down before the start of a busy week. 12/10. I may never go back to mashed potatoes after this….we’ll see lol

Health tip: Butternut squash are low calorie making it a great alternative to starchy carbs like potatoes and rice. It’s also high in Antioxidants, FIBER, potassium, plus many other beneficial qualities that help with digestion, heart health and weight management.
