THE LOST KID

One day, I had a dream.

I saw lights, colours, a giant wheel spinning in the sky, and colourful popsicles melting under the lights.

I was there with my parents. Everyone was happy. The air was filled with laughter, music, and the smell of sweet treats.

I was so excited.

I climbed onto the giant wheel. Everyone was screaming with excitement. But as the wheel began to rise, fear crept into me. I closed my eyes tightly and screamed along with everyone else.

The wheel spun faster.

My heart raced. My breathing grew heavier. I couldn’t tell if I was screaming out of excitement or fear anymore.

Finally, I opened my eyes.

Everything was blurry.

The lights were still there. The colours were still there. The giant wheel was still turning.

But my parents were gone.

I looked around, desperately searching for familiar faces. I couldn’t see clearly. I couldn’t hear anything except the pounding of my heart.

I was alone.

And I was scared.

Everything was okay…

Until I realised it wasn’t just a dream.

THE 80s PROMPT.

These days, everyone seems to be searching for that perfect prompt to recreate the charm of the 80s — the colours, the frames, the nostalgia, the slightly imperfect beauty of an era that still feels timeless.

So instead of asking for a prompt, we decided to shoot one.

Two couples, bold red and green elements, carefully placed frames, Dutch angles, expressive compositions, and a little bit of that old-school visual language — everything was intentionally designed to make these photographs feel like they belong to another decade.

No complicated tricks. Just an idea, a set, some colours, good styling, and the freedom to compose the frame differently.

The goal was never to simply make a modern photograph look old.

It was to imagine what an 80s photograph might look like if we created it today — with the same soul, but our own visual language.

A little retro.
A little experimental.
A little cinematic.

The 80s, recreated — one frame at a time.
