MV29 - INTROVERT DISCO [PT. 2]

It's youuuuu 📻🪩

The second half of the visual concepts for @_aema1's 'Introvert Disco'.
Expanded the layout to a 4-panel grid here to highlight the full tracklist and credits at the bottom.

Still playing with those tactile, nostalgic textures to match the energy of the tape.

MV28 - INTROVERT DISCO [PT. 1]

In my head for now 💭🪩

A visual exploration series for @_aema1's 'Introvert Disco' EP. Every poster here is custom-built for a specific song on the project, tailoring each colorway to a track's lyrics.

I wanted to match the energy of the EP with something tactile and nostalgic // playing with 3-panel grids, heavy film grain and lyric-driven starbursts.

Some artists make songs. Others quietly build careers that last.

Aema is doing exactly that.

From her early releases in 2023 to earning a songwriting credit on Davido and Fave’s Kante, collaborating with Kold AF after a Sony songwriting camp in Ghana, and working alongside producers, engineers, and artists like Freshy, Arthur, Zeus, Remedee, SirBastien, Taves, Lady Donli, Tshego, and more, every step of her journey points to one thing: intentional growth.

This isn’t about name-dropping.

It’s about recognizing a pattern. The best creatives are selective with who they spend their time making music with. When the same calibre of collaborators continues to show up around one artist, it’s often a sign that something special is taking shape.

With the release of her debut EP, Introvert Disco, Aema has shown that she’s not chasing viral moments—she’s laying the foundation for a career built to last.

Sometimes, the biggest stars are the ones quietly putting the pieces together before the rest of the world catches on.

What do you think is Aema’s standout record so far?
