Displacement is not just a home destroyed or a roof caved in... Displacement is for us to become scattered rooms in the corners of our ruined city, or mere numbers divided by geography between inside Gaza and abroad.
Displacement is finding no hand to lean on amidst the crowd of loss, forced to live solely for yourself, gathering the fragments of your own soul with your hands every morning. It is seeing the hearts of the poor and displaced in your homeland beating with humanity and compassion, while the world stands in utter denial of the most basic human empathy.
My family and my people are displaced, their homes turned to rubble, yet despite all the scattering, their spirits always reunite on the hope of return and togetherness #children #explore #viralreels #reels #familytime❤️
