COMMUNITY...Are you ready for the second act...?

Introducing the SideRoom at the Blackbox!

They say when one door closes, another one opens. Saying goodbye to the Backroom at CCBD was hard for us all but we got a bigger, better (and sexier) new chapter to our story.

We want you to experience and embrace the evolution that is the SideRoom. Everything we’ve done up until this point has been for this moment right here. Preserving the soul of Community has always been and always will be our core mission.

The time away has given us the opportunity to reflect upon the magic we created at the Backroom. We have partnered with industry veterans to ensure elevated, electrifying experiences, you won’t be able to find anywhere else.

The SideRoom is a testament of the passion and innovation created by the Community, for the Community. Our Community. The SideRoom will be a place of inclusion, respect and love, as we had at the Backroom. A safe space where everyone is welcomed without judgement - providing the opportunities to help uplift our community through music.

Presenting an eclectic mix of avant-garde sounds that go against the musical “status quo” and the promise of curating unparalleled experiences that will keep you wanting more.

Now, it’s our time to show this city who we are and the purpose behind it all. This is our revival, and you are the most vital element of our journey.

The SideRoom is more than just a party - it is a symbol of hope, inspiration, diversity and renewal. The Backroom attracted an array of misfits that helped make our vision come to life. The SideRoom is the result of the passion that brought all of us together. Let’s inspire the community together once again.

Let us dance together again!
