Three years ago we opened these doors with a lot of hope, a vision, and more sweat equity than we care to admit.

On Sunday, November 15th, we pour our last drinks here in Kingston, NY, and we couldn't think of a better way to say goodbye than with the people who we call friends & mentors.

TIKI TITANS
Is one night only. For our final service.

Behind the bar with us:
Shannon Mustipher - Spirits Educator
Brian Miller - Stockton Inn (& The Polynesian)
Ray Sakover & Alex Barbosa - Paradise Lost
Gelo Honrade - After Eden

These are people I've learned from, poured beside and stayed up way too late with.

Having them in this room for our last night means more than we can put in an IG caption.

So to everyone who sat at our bar stools & tables, let us nerd out about all things cocktail & rum related, and kept coming back: thank you. You helped to realize the vision we brought to this neighborhood.

Come raise a glass with us one last time.

-Anton & Lisa-

In celebration of Filipino American Heritage Month, this month we’re spotlighting Gelo Honrade, owner and beverage director of @aftereden.nyc , whose approach to cocktails draws on the rich culinary diversity of Southeast Asia.

After more than a decade behind the bar in New York City, Gelo is carving out his own space to challenge expectations around Asian flavors, reimagine familiar cocktails, and bring greater visibility to Filipinos in the beverage industry.

We caught up with Gelo to talk about his journey, pushing boundaries with Southeast Asian flavors, and the importance of genuine connection in hospitality.

The bánh mì was good. The crispy rolls stole the show.
@aftereden.nyc

Stopped by After Eden on Orchard Street for a pâté pastry, bánh mì, and crispy rolls. The generous pâté and the rolls were the highlights.

✨ Country Pâté Pastry // Bánh Paté Chaud Gà — $8
The filling was mild in flavor. A crispier pastry shell would have made it even better.

✨ Bánh Mì 1 Oanh — $14
The pâté tasted so fresh it felt unmistakably homemade, and they were generous with it. A solid pick.

✨ Pork Crispy Rolls // Chả Giò — $12
A beautifully crisp shell filled with crab, shrimp, pork, and mushrooms. Great flavor and texture, especially wrapped in the vegetables and herbs with the dipping sauce.

✨ Vietnamese coffee $5.5
The crispy rolls would be my first pick, with the bánh mì close behind.

💰 Total $45 before tax and tips
