The Whirlpool Galaxy, also known as Messier 51a, M51a, and NGC 5194, is an interacting grand-design spiral galaxy with a Seyfert 2 active galactic nucleus. It lies in the constellation Canes Venatici, and was the first galaxy to be classified as a spiral galaxy. Its distance is estimated to be 31 million light-years away from Earth. The galaxy and its companion, NGC 5195, are easily observed by amateur astronomers, and the two galaxies may be seen with binoculars. The Whirlpool Galaxy has been extensively observed by professional astronomers, who study it to understand galaxy structure (particularly structure associated with the spiral arms) and galaxy interactions.

The Lambda Orionis Cluster (also known as the Collinder 69) is an open star cluster located north-west of the star Betelgeuse in the constellation of Orion. It is about five million years old and roughly 1,300 ly (400 pc) away from the Sun. Included within the cluster is a double star named Meissa. With the rest of Orion, it is visible from the middle of August in the morning sky, to late April before Orion becomes too close to the Sun to be seen well. It can be seen from both the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere. . . Think, light from Betelgeuse takes about 600 years to reach earth, considering this is 2021, the light we received today from this star, has travelled since 1421.. During 15th Century on Earth… Incas rule in Peru. Florence becomes center of Renaissance arts and learning under the Medicis. Turks conquer Constantinople, end of the Byzantine empire, beginning of the Ottoman empire. The Wars of the Roses, civil wars between rival noble factions, begin in England (to 1485), Vijaynagara in the Vijayanagara Empire had about 500,000 inhabitants (supporting 0.1% of the global population during 1440-1540), making it the second largest city in the world after Beijing and almost three times the size of Paris. Interesting right…

Beautiful nightscape by @_frameinmyeyes "You can potentially unlock your true power when you expose yourself to uncertainty" Category: Stacked Social: https://www.instagram.com/_frameinmyeyes/ Story : 4th May 2018, I went out with my second attempt to capture Milkyway and also with zero knowledge on how to focus star, zero knowledge on editing, and lets not even talk about blending, stacking, or photoshop. Few days back, when I was going through my last years images and I specially opened 4th May 2018’s folder, and I saw 8 images( u can see in comment) with fixed fg, the exposure was not even constant as I was just trying to get perfect exposure and I can see that my images had exposure between 1250 ISO to 3200 ISO, and all were 20s using Canon M3 and Kit Lens 15mm. I decided to give my learning a test and what I can see is truly amazing then when I first edited a photo from there last year…… I am happy with my learning and now I know I am on right path… Hope you guys liked this… Exif : Canon M3 * Kit Lens at 15mm * variable ISO (1250<>3200) * 20s * f/3.5 Processed : LR CC ( To match total exposure, I choose the image which had 2000 ISO for matching), PS CC for final Image. Stacking done using Sequator..

Debojit Chakrabarty at Little Paddocks Chapel —- REPOST: @_frameinmyeyes from facebook.com/groups/startrailchasers chosen by @tracyleephotos --- #startrailchasers to be featured or post on Facebook.com/groups/startrailchasers. Tag a friend who might enjoy this Star Trail image and journey! --- From Debojit about this image: --- Category: Stacked/Blend - Story: its a redit of my @little.paddocks.chapel startrail image which I have posted 2 weeks back......so the story here is why I did reedit... 1) image was dark 2) vibrance of sky n fg is so different that it appear as composite which is not true 3) the radial blur though helped to smooth also make the image a bit unclear 4) lack of ambient light is not potraying the real scene 5) To use of oil paint filter made the sky like canvas What I changed.... before that what is my principle to create trail image.. 1) Push for 5 or 6hr of images 2) observe all image n pick up those layer of same composition for fg stacking n blend with point 1 Now what I changed.... 1) less oil paint n radial blurr to keep sky natural.. how i got color that's a bit mix n match from camera raw 2) picking up same frame layers which are vibrant enough to match sky. 3) keep the highlight at horizon as it is.. its not bad .. its natural... it compliments image 4) be comment proof and use comment as motivation.. photography is art n everyone has their own choise and liking... dont fight it embrace it... and evolve... Exif : Canon 6d, 4000 IS0, f2.8, 30s × 377 FG.. 13 image stacked from the batch and then blended in ps cc Processed in PS CC/LR CC Social : https://www.instagram.com/_frameinmyeyes/ #startrailchasers #australialongexposure #nightskyphotography #astrophotography #nightscape #nightscapephotography #starrynight #stargazing #nightimages #exploreaustralia #startrails #ig_australia #discoveryourcreativity #startrailchasers #canonaustralia #australia_shotz #exploreuniverses #longexpo_addiction #longexposure_photos #themilkyway #visithuntervalley #aussie_images #nightskape #photographerfocus #amazing_longexpo #photowalkaustralia #night_exposures #picturelinenightscape
