Hello, lovelies!
Today I’ve prepared two tags for you with a steampunk vibe and a little touch of color. I decided to use collage paper featuring faces and incorporate it into the cardboard tags using acrylic paints.

It’s such a simple technique, and I highly recommend giving it a try! The whole project was finished off with some gorgeous stencils that are absolutely perfect for this kind of mixed-media project.

Let me know what you think! Do you think this technique is worth trying? Would you give it a go?
Products used from ABStudio store:
*mixmedia tags chipboard base
*stencil No 367 and No 296
*Steampunk Collage paper No 7882
*warnish, gesso, glue from Renesans available at our store
*rubber stamps

❤️Come and take a peek into my studio!

Today I'm playing in my art journal with the new collage papers from ABstudio.

I took the easy route and used one of the beautiful patterned paper as my background ID 7862. The colors are stunning and perfect for mixed media—they make an amazing base for adding acrylic paint and extra layers.

I'm also obsessed with the new retro vintage character sheet No 7753 They're quirky, a little weird, and that's exactly why I love them!

I didn't add any white gesso under the images because I wanted you to see how they look directly on the patterned background.

What do you think? ❤️❤️

@agabaraniak is up on our blog with an art journal entry that opens a new chapter in her life 🤍
New Finnabair products helped her to take a step forward, leaving the abyss of nothingness behind.

She has used intuitive, beautiful rice papers from Finnabair’s latest collection, layered with gel medium and clear gesso for total creative freedom. White gesso, wax through a stencil, and lots of die cuts finished the page ✨

We hope you like it!
Let Aga know what you think in the comments — the positive energy is what we need these days 💭
