Well stick a fork in me, I am done! ☺️ Thanksgiving Monday at home with just the 3 of us was beautiful! It was a beautiful day, so we had the windows open and got out to vote at the advanced polls! We made a Cranberry @canadadry.canada Slushie in the @ninjakitchencanada for an afternoon treat with a delicious Skillet Cookie from @skilletcookiecompany and amazing cheesecake from @agapebakeventures 🤤 Be sure to check both of them out! Also get out and vote Milton! We cooked our traditional Thanksgiving turkey roll and sides! Bri & Sofia cleaned up and we enjoyed a Crookie from @mmfoodmarket for dessert! It was certainly a weekend full of goodies, but that’s OK! Thankful and grateful beyond measure! Crazy to say, but I have work in the morning for another few half days this week! THAT is more than something I could have ever dreamed for this Thanksgiving! Cooking, time with my own Fam and excited to prepare for work might eventually fade, but Thank You God for this today! There was a time when I spent too many days in a hospital, I couldn’t walk let alone cook for my family and today I’m doing it! I still struggle, but it’s living life to my abilities now! 🙏♥️ @fridge_man_bbq #josjourney #thanksgiving

Okay, these cinnamon buns are SO good. Like, the kind where you take one bite and immediately know you’re going back for another.
I tried the cinnamon buns from @agapebakeventures and I honestly can’t recommend them enough. Soft, gooey, packed with cinnamon flavour and just the right amount of sweetness. They did not last long in my house!
A few things I love about them: they’re a home bakery, they’re public health inspected, and they’re located right off James Snow Parkway and Main Street, so they’re super easy to get to.

And here’s something to watch for… they’re collaborating with @skilletcookiecompany NEXT WEEK at Milton Mall! So if you’ve been wanting to try them, that’s your chance to grab some.

Definitely check out @agapebakeventures and tell me if you try the cinnamon buns. I highly recommend them!

🍫 You have 3 minutes before this disappears…

Rich chocolate cake.
Silky chocolate frosting.
And that first bite that makes you forget you’re supposed to share 😭

So be honest…

Who are you calling first? 👇🍫

Tag the person you’d share this with (or pretend you would 😅).

I wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to all my fellow bakers who have inspired me, educated me and motivated me to be better and better everyday with my work.
Sorry only was allowed to tag 20 but it's meant to everyone I follow and beyond.

There are a lot of YouTube videos that have taught me stuff and I thank the creators of those as well.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

Spring at The Secret Garden looks like this..

Hands arranging flowers, soil under our nails, tea steeping in the corner, and a table overflowing with plants & flowers.

We’ve put together a season of workshops that feel easy, a little bit magical, and very creative. You’ll learn something, make something, and take it home with you, flowers, seeds, tiny gardens. A number of offerings all rooted in the same thing: slowing down, connecting with nature and your own intuition & creativity.

From fairy gardens for littles to flower arranging to tea leaf reading with @blueheronapothecary13 we think we’ve got something for everyone 🤍🌿
