How exhilarating it is to sharpen another tool in my creative toolbox. Bringing AVA to life & sharing her live on stage has fulfilled & rebirthed me in ways I never imagined ☺️

To my castmates — I couldn’t imagine anyone else I’d rather play in this space with. A bond I know will never be broken. Thank you all for being exactly who you are 🌹

& to everyone who came out to support, it truly means the world to me ❤️‍🔥 To AVA & Woman Who Cut 🥂

In awe of my 3rdborn Elias Ferguson aka H.E.Z.Y who conceived, produced and performed in an amazing inaugural “In the Mid Music Festival,” which premiered last month. It was a Mid-City LA artist family affair - Elias’ labor of love. An all-day-long, highly attended, smoothly run, cutting edge event, full of joy and positivity. The crowd was wowed with live poetic performances by outstandingly talented and revered young LA artists - some with whom Elias grew up on the same block, since diapers. My 4th and 5thborn sons Uriel and Joshua aka Champe opened with a few of their songs for the following lineup of these awesome artists: NAVY BLUE, MAXO, H.E.Z.Y, CLETUS STRAP, CAM OKORO, SOCKJUS, SJAYY, MILES ANANDA, DENYAH, OCHO WORLDWIDE, EZCODYLEE, ICE9, MEMPHO, 6200BPM and EAT. Congratulations to Elias and all the great young artists who performed! Swipe to enjoy video clips of some of their performances in the festival.

A very jolly St Patrick’s Day @ruskingroupthtr this Sunday! My second time directing a Cafe Play was a true pleasure 🍀✨ with this talented cast @agentjrrd @larkinfon Ashley Barrett and our AD @liamrgilmore . The talented @iamoyster_austinhgarces wrote this the same morning (the nature of Cafe Plays) before heading to set like a true pro 👏👏
