Empower wrestling and Braveheart Academy came together for another successful wrestling and conditioning training camp with the students of Braveheart Academy. It was a fantastic day full of learning, activities, and positive energy, with the aim of passing on valuable knowledge, supporting student development, and building confidence through wrestling, conditioning, discipline, and teamwork. A big thank you to Braveheart Wrestling Academy for the continued hard work they put into their students under the guidance of Coach @sassa_kat_coach We are very proud to be affiliated with such a strong and meaningful brand. This camp was also part of our youth development programme, using sport as a positive tool to help young people grow, learn, and develop. A very successful day and a strong partnership for the future.🤼‍♂️💯🔥🏅🏅

Today’s competition was deeply symbolic for both me and Marietta, she stepped onto the mat alone — and against boys. The entire arena was watching her as she stood there, facing them. And in that moment, she had a choice: to give up, to be the “good girl,” small and comfortable… or to stand and fight until the very last point. Winning or losing was never the most important thing. What truly matters is refusing to surrender. What matters is showing that you are not afraid. There was not a single trace of fear in her eyes. I know that feeling all too well — the feeling of standing alone against a system, against an environment where you must prove that you belong. In such moments, acceptance only comes when you show your character. And I am grateful that today she was not alone, because I was there beside her. I am endlessly proud of Marietta — proud of her courage, her spirit, her quiet inner strength. I saw no fear, no hesitation, only determination and the willingness to face every challenge head-on. Sometimes the fears that seem the biggest turn out to be far less frightening than we imagine.

Busy week — Alhamdulillah ☝️ grateful to have brought home 3 golds at @novagrappling and @247_europe . 🥇🥇🥇 The best part wasn’t the medals, it was being able to share the mats, the podium, and every step of the journey with my friends. Winning felt amazing, but it was the people around me who made it possible.
