💡📸📣🔥👏🏽
Student Spotlight

📢 Raphael Hill and Denise Roberts

Sa Bri and I are proud and honored to have these two coming to class on a week to week basis and watching their progress as dancers and what dancing has brought to their personal lives. Thank you for trusting us and sticking with the process. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Raphael started dancing in February 2023 with the RYT Beginner Salsa Bootcamp through the UNM and CNM student program. Raphael's goal was to become comfortable dancing in social settings and now he has added the goal of becoming more fluid and dynamic in his movement.

Raphael attended the Bootcamp for 3 months and now attends Salsa 101 as he looks to progress.

Denise, a native New Mexican and small business owner had no prior dance experience other than 4-H dances prior to her first Salsa class. Realizing that she needed something new and challenging to fill a void after showing horses competitively for several years, Denise came to Salsa Bootcamp a year ago for her first lesson and has stayed with the discipline. Her goal is to be a really pretty dancer with wonderful technique, style, and a great follow. Denise stated "this is one of the most challenging things I've ever done, but i LOVE it and I am working very hard to become a betrer dancer!"

Denise attended Salsa Bootcamp for a year, and progressed as we had to operate with a mixed class of absolute beginners and those with some experience. She now attends Salsa 101, 102, and is part of the CCD ABQ Mambo Shines Team.
