My proof there is honey in the rock!!!

When I reflect on this summer, I am reminded of how sovereign and redeeming God has been in my life. The past nine weeks have been filled with so much love, sadness, joy, confusion, anger, and so much more. Yet through it all, one thing has remained constant, and that’s Jesus Christ.

This summer has shown me that even in seasons that feel dry or uncertain, God is faithful to provide exactly what we need. He has shown me that there truly is honey in the rock — that His sweetness, provision, and presence can be found in places I never expected. My heart has come to fully grasp that everything pales in comparison to knowing Jesus as Lord and Savior. I’m so thankful for the ways He has softened and pruned my heart, teaching me to love Him more deeply.

There truly is no greater gift than being a part of God’s plan to make Jesus known among the nations and to live a life that is pleasing to Him. I had many questions and anxieties about why I felt God so strongly calling me to go to Kaleo. Now I know it was to humble me and strengthen me for His Kingdom. I’m leaving confident and firmly rooted in my identity in Christ, resting in the grace and love that surround every part of me. — Thank you Jesus for the cross.

A whole summer spent in complete adoration of the creator!! What an absolute blessing to be able to witness God move in the lives of so many, he is a great redeemer and a loving father. The love that the Lord has for us is like no other. What a wonderful gift that by his son Jesus Christ we get to spend an eternity worshipping him!!

If kaleo this summer has taught me anything it is about reliance and obedience to the father. That his plan is greater, he is our stronghold, our strength, our protector. Trusting my life to Christ has been the greatest decision I have ever made, and by his grace I have an eternal perspective and purpose to share the good news of Jesus Christ to anyone I may meet. What an incredible privilege to be able to boast of the one true God, who saved and redeemed my life!!!

My heart is so full and so heavy at the same time! We left this amazing girl at the airport yesterday to start her journey to Japan. Words can’t express how incredibly proud I am as her mom. She is off to shine her light and do mission work . She is so brave, strong and independent and truly has a heart for Jesus ! I always knew God had something big in store for her but wow - this is something I would not have ever guessed. His plan is always greater than what we could even dream - isn’t it?! The tears and prayers are flowing! I know she is right where God wants her and the fact she is so faithful and obedient is something that we can all learn from. For everyone who is and will be supporting her and praying for her. Thank you. This isn’t going to be easy but she is up for the task. So I ask you to continue to pray for her! Because two years is a really long time- I got the photo at the end late last night ! She made it… #journeytojapan #japan #stumo
