My dad is a living archive. He remembers names, dates, everything. And his library is full of things most people would have thrown away years ago.

I took these old magazines from his shelves and added them to mine. Somewhere between him keeping them and me deciding they deserved space in my own collection, I realized that archiving is really an act of care.

I find old magazines and newspapers ridiculously fascinating.

Imagine how easily these could have ended up in a bin somewhere. And with them, a whole moment in time.

It’s funny how we think history is something distant, when really, it’s just yesterday carefully kept.

That’s why archiving matters.

What a perfect day 🤎

I’ve always craved this type of birthday, calm, with my people, laughs and hugs.

26 dealt me a deck of cards that I honestly just wanted to not exist, but inside of everything that has happened, I found love in the midst of letting people in. In the midst of my friends and letting them love me the way that I deserve.

I visited all these places in a week! Naahhh I had mad fun touring Abuja from Lugbe - Wuse 2 - Maitama - Utako.
Abuja choked me 😂 and gave me sunburn too 😏. But it was worth it.

I'm definitely visiting next time and the first thing I'm doing is hiking.
