September 🌸 This month I read 13 books and I DNFd 1! Highlights of September: 🌸 Most of my September was spent working, painting, and setting up my new shop for my business! It was exhausting, overwhelming, and something I’m extremely proud of! 🌸 I rebricked my Friends central perk set and framed it! I’m so happy it won’t get dusty! 🌸 I began my dangerous obsession with the Kubo Angels Poem blind boxes 🫣 🌸 My kids went to their grandmothers so I worked my ass off on opening week of my new shop 😴 🌸 My bestest girl @readswith.erin came over and we had a lovely dinner with my husband while we watched The Love Hypothesis together. Her phone memories came up while we were watching and I was in all of them *does hair flick* 🌸 I may have purchased more books than I read…but that’s fineeeee 🌸 I was visited by my nephew, and my cousins. It was lovely! 🌸 Went and saw Practical Magic 2 for bookclub…and totally forgot to talk about the book 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 🌸 Took my family back to the very small town I grew up in! It was lovely to show them around, remember fond memories, and introduce them to people that were massive parts of my first 18 years! Very much looking forward to October, spooky season, and more sunny days!!! 5⭐️ reads for September: ✨ Carls Doomsday Scenario by @mattdinniman ✨ Undone by @peytoncorinneauthor What was your favourite read of September?? #booklover #bookstagram #bookreview #wrapup #september

I’d love to know where my book community is based, why? Because I’m super nosey 🙊 and because I saw @reading_with_ralphie make a post and found lots of new accounts to follow! So in the comments tell ne your name, where you live and what you’re currently reading Then give the comments a scroll and see if you can find some new book friends too 🥰 And like Michelle I’ll share a post that highlights some of the accounts - thank you so much for the post inspo! . . . . . #whatsarahsread #bookishcommunity #bookfriendsarethebestfriends #romancebookaddict #spicybookstagram I’ve tagged some friends to get the comments started 😘

I saw @anotherlittlebookshelf’s same but different bookish challenge, so wanted to do it too! ⭐ Start with a 5 star read... The Dead Romantics by @heyashposton 🖤... that shares a trope with... Pen Pal by @jtgeissingerauthor 🔠 … that starts with the same letter as… Play Along by @liztomforde.author 💜 … that’s the same colour as… Things We Left Behind by @scorelucy ✍️ … that’s written by the same author… Mistakes Were Made by Lucy Score I’ve tagged some friends to do the challenge as well 🥰 . . . . . #whatsarahsread #bookishchallenge #romancebooks #spicybookrecs #5starreads

August ❄️ This month I read 23 books and I DNFd 3! Highlights of August: ❄️ Visited my girl @readwith.kay to celebrate her birthday. Had a great night of laughs and joy with Kayla, @readswith.erin, and @hanas_little_library ❄️ Went to check out the @goodgirlsreadbookstore in Geelong with my love @casey_readss - the photo is her standing next to the book boyfriend height chart ❄️ All the Daffodils started blooming which is always my favourite thing! ❄️ I finished crocheting my flower blanket! It was such a huge achievement and I’m so bloody proud of me! ❄️ Made some crochet bookmarks for my friends for bookclub!! ❄️ Celebrated this month’s Shelf Care Club in my home with painting and other crafts! Was wonderful to see all my girls! ❄️ Enjoyed some of our first warm days with my dogs and kids in the sunshine ❄️ Painted my first book spine! ❄️ Celebrated my baby boys 7th birthday!!! ❄️ Went to the prelim finals, Dymocks, and popmart with my @readswith.erin - was such a fun night! ❄️ Spent the night with my bestie E and her growing baby bump 🥹 I am going to spoil the crap out of this baby with love and presents ❄️ Went to the zoo with @getbookedwithsez and @casey_readss - my favourite fact from the day was that a groups of lemurs is called a conspiracy! I also wanted to mention this month was a year since I lost one of my favourite people in this world to an absolutely HORRIBLE disease. MND is horrible and watching it take away the brightest most spectacular human was horrible. I will miss you always Jane 🩷 5⭐️ reads for August: ✨ All the Mindf*ck series by ST Abby ✨ The Wildborn by @authorperritorani ✨ Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter by @heather_fawcett ✨ Dungeon Crawler Carl by @mattdinniman ✨ Common Goal, Role Model, and The Long Game by @rachelreidwrites ✨ Tempting Venom by @author_rina What was your favourite read of August?? #booklover #bookstagram #bookreview #wrapup august

This month we decided to ‘Judge a book by its cover’ and only chose books we thought were pretty but we hadn’t read the blurbs of! Then we played ‘Spin the Bottle’ to see what book was the last one standing!! #bookclub #shelfcareclub #spinthebottle #judgingabookbyotscover #prettybooks

🎨 shelf care club: crafty day + chats edition 🎨 Spent my afternoon today with these beautiful gals for our catchup, doing all things crafty and catching up! Finally got to meet @bethsbooksau (+ her mini Zo gal) and @annieish_delights which was so wonderful to finally meet them in person! 🫶🏻🫶🏻 We did spin the wheel to pick our next book based off some of the pretty covers we all own (minus one not in this pic), but you’ll have to wait and see on @bridiereadsalot’s page to what book won! 👀😝 Oh how I’ve missed these gals so so much, love these gals always 🥹🥹
