What an unforgettable weekend it was at the @greatsouthbaymusicfestival 🎶☀️🌅 From perfect summer weather to an amazing atmosphere filled with music lovers, there was no better place to be.

Five Towns College students were right in the middle of it all, applying their skills and training from the classroom and gaining real-world experience as they captured the excitement of one of Long Island’s biggest music festivals. And it was a really fun, awesome time while doing it! 😁🤙 From covering high-energy performances to conducting exclusive interviews with the artists, they put their skills into practice exactly as they would in the professional world.

These photos are just a glimpse of the incredible work (and the fun) they accomplished throughout the festival—with a little extra FTC alumni star power joining in along the way! 🤩🎥🎤

At Five Towns College, learning doesn’t just happen in the classroom—it happens on the biggest stages, at the biggest events, and alongside industry professionals. Thank you to everyone that stopped by the FTC tent, and thank you to @greatsouthbaymusicfestival for an amazing time!

💫 As Major League Baseball season is in full swing, Aaron McLaughlin ('24) is on the ground at Camden Yards as part of the Baltimore Orioles promotions team. In addition to engaging with fans, Aaron shadowed other stadium positions and was recently featured in an ad. Aaron was a big part of the FTC Sports Broadcasting team and it's great to see him blend his passion and skills.

"Working in MLB has been my dream since I learned what baseball was. So, living that dream every day in a beautiful city has been nothing short of amazing," said Aaron.
