This student project uses typography to respond to the political conversation around Greenland. A Poem Torn is a typographic and film-based response to how Greenland has entered global headlines, often framed for its geopolitical position rather than its cultural identity. Created by Danish duo Almost ABBA, the project begins with film to establish context, then fractures the poem “Kalaallit Nunaat” through typography, visually mirroring a nation strained by outside power and politics. The work ultimately becomes a direct statement, calling for public apologies from two global leaders – demonstrating how design and advertising can function as vessels for voice, memory, and meaning. 📺 1 LIVESHOW 📺 ♥️ @denvildestedanser @tv2danmark ♥️ D.4 september 2020 fremførte vi 1. dans i TV2 programmet Den Vildeste Danser. Vi havde fået teamet: “Alice i Eventyrland” 🤍 Det var 1️⃣6️⃣ MEGET nervøse piger som optrådte på scenen, men 16 fuldstændig seje og gennemført fantastiske dansere! De næste par dage vil vi tage jer med tilbage til vores DVD (Den Vildeste Danser) tid. We are thrilled to share a very cool but a bit unusual project with you🤝🏾 In partnership with Kath&Andersen, along support of Business Kolding, we have been closely collaborating on a course centered around Brand Identity & Content Development for Social Media. 💡 The 3 talented fellas at Kath&Andersen have passionately devoted the last two months to creating a fresh visual identity and brand strategy, which we have enhanced with a TikTok and Instagram Reels’ workshop. Collaborating have been a huge pleasure so far, and we still have some upcoming projects together, but here is a behind-the-scenes look into two of our days spent together.
