As always, looking forward to being back in the resonant Durbar Hall @hastings_museum with @abstract_source_music on 13th September (7pm) with Serpentis, our sound experience for @coastalcurrentsfestival 2025. There is a unique flavour to every venue and here this hall is its own instrument, playing its resonant history before we even make a sound….where the wooden carvings adorning the hall and the artefacts lining the gallery the ceiling opens into have their own story. There is already something special there. And here we’ll be casting sonic ripples of serpentine myth in the year of the wood snake…. in this wooden carved temple…

Thank you @agnessphotos @agness_proart for this photo capturing a moment before Call of the Jaguar in May. If you need a photographer for any projects or occasions I highly recommend - sensitive, intuitive and captures the vibe ✨

Meet Agness Clark, a multidisciplinary artist and award-nominated photographer based in Hastings. With a passion for creativity that spans fine art and commercial photography, her work ranges from intimate portraits to striking product, food, and interior imagery. Featured in Elle Decoration, Country Living, and Home & Garden, as well as in several notable books., Agness brings versatility and vision to every project. Shortlisted for The British Photography Awards in 2021 and 2023, she continues to explore the boundaries of visual storytelling through a blend of realism, abstraction, and expression.

Agness’s paintings are driven by intuition and a desire to capture the essence of transformation. Whether working with brush or lens, she embraces change as a vital part of her process.

„I see my art as a dialogue not just between different forms and ideas, but also between me and the viewer. I want my audience to engage with my pieces and find their own meanings within them. Art, to me, is about sharing the many stories we all carry, celebrating our shared experiences while also honoring our individuality. Each piece I create is an invitation to explore, reflect, and connect in a personal way”
