On October 16 2016, Lil Peep dropped his single “Prada”, produced by @paintingwithpoison. The cover art was made by @dani3stacks, who had made some fan art of Peep in the past and caught his attention. The 16th was the day the song “Doubt Me” with Eddy Baker was recorded, produced by @smokeasac.

The following day, Peep hung out with @chxpo, @agoff18 and @yunforza at his Echo Park apartment, where they recorded some music. This was the day Peep, CHXPO and AGoff recorded “Drip (Remix)” and @droppedla shot a music video at the apartment for AGoff’s song “Ain’t Gotta Lie”, in which Peep can be seen slumped on the couch in the background.

This was when Peep got his “MOM” tat on his neck. When talking about it in an interview later in 2017, he said: “This is my relationship with my mom. I’m Lisa, just screaming “Mom!!” ‘cause whenever something’s going wrong in my life or I’m freaking out, I call my mom on the phone and stress her the fuck out.” He took some close-up shots of it and some videos, during the tatting process and after it was complete.
