Introducing the new Autumn Menu at the Brasserie, Sopwell House.

Inspired by autumn’s necessity for heartwarming, feel good dishes, Brasserie Head Chef Marilena Ungureanu has introduced this glorious starter to our Brasserie menu.

Slow-braised ham hock crisped for indulgence, balanced by smoky chorizo, sharp Montgomery cheese, and sweet apple cider purée - celebrating the very essence of rustic comfort in every golden bite.

And what to drink with it? You can choose from -

A dry and unoaked KLEINE ZALZE CELLAR SELECTION BUSH VINES CHENIN BLANC- with notes of green apples, quince and a citrus nose

Or

A fresh glass of SAINT-AMOUR, Mommessin Les Grandes Mises – with raspberry and cherry notes, complemented by hints of spice and liquorice.

The delicate flavour of goose liver combined with the strong and robust taste of the chicken liver creates one of the most known delicacies from the French cuisine.

A keen favourite on the Brasserie menu, no matter the season.

We recommend pairing it with our Sauternes - Château Grand Jauga, offering notes of honey, apricot, pineapple and mango.

For a lighter, sparkling option, the Cottonmill Prosecco brings crisp green apple, pear and a gentle floral finish - the perfect touch of elegance.
