Matthew Ballantyne: “The Life of a Woodcutter” opened on a sunny Saturday afternoon in Vancouver. His first solo exhibition at MRG was celebrated by many who came and joined in the festivities. Thank you for making this opening so special. The exhibition continues until July 31.

Sunday Morning 10AM POWER PRACTICE via Zoom...⁣
⁣
⁣LINK IN BIO 💛⁣
⁣
⁣Why is movement a PRACTICE? Why is it one that we must return to day by day - one that we seek out time after time? ⁣
⁣
⁣To me, movement is our way of humbly seeking out a place that is nestled beneath our pursuit of answers. It softly waits for us to be quiet enough to find the abundance inside ourselves. ⁣
⁣
⁣The daily practice is that... letting go of our pursuit of perfection. Showing up even just to try. With all our fears and unknowns in tow. That is all we can do - show up and trust that the attempt is enough. ⁣
⁣
⁣⁣I hope you show up with me tomorrow - the practice will be powerful while simultaneously slow, attentive, and nourishing. ⁣

In my personalized I-Spy game of flower gardens, used books stores, bird sanctuaries, victorian houses, antiques shops, endless pastries, and early morning beach combing.
