I deeply enjoyed being one with nature.
being out in the wild, making art.
it brought a lot of elements that define me together.
its amazing how healing nature is.
how it brings everything real within, out there in the rawest form there is.
it was tough & truly rough, but it was a reminder of how I can be too.

its a been a while, a very long while since Ive been able to relate to a picture of mine.
its just so soothing how loudly it expresses my current state of being.
its so comforting looking at it knowing that its a true, honest reflection.. not an obscured one.
I have a frame to speak for me, I feel connected, I feel like part of me is real, is out there.
Every mood, state, feeling or thought that this frame is portraying, is one I walk around carrying.
And it was so tiring until it came out in something meaningful, something that can be relatable.. something to touch and be touched by, something to feel, to reflect on.. to pause and wonder about.
A moment of beauty, a moment of art.
And now, only now I can heal, through this, through art.
Thank you for giving me this gentle gift, thank you for letting me be part of this.

I forgot how bitter it can be
when I’m not feeling someone’s love for me
I sit here & try
I sit here and look at this face of mine
& i simply cant relate
to how things were
to what brought me there
& what did I have on my mind
that was that heavy
& how did I let it come
& how did I invite it in
apparently
I can still surprise me
& this is good to know.
