At Regain, we’re passionate about advocating for women’s health and raising awareness for breast cancer. But caring for our community goes beyond the treatment room! ❤️

Today, our team recently participated in CPR training with @ahakansas to help make our office, and our community, a safer place while wearing pink for @nbcf Wear It Pink Day!

From raising awareness to learning life-saving skills, we believe that taking care of people means showing up for their health in every way possible 💗

The journey of a loved one enduring a chronic cardiovascular condition — a journey too commonly known by more than you’d realize.

We’re humbled to share @alekhansen story, we’ve been moved to learn the many many stories of strangers, friends and loved ones and that much more motivated to champion causes, trials, unique remedies and research.

Just because you’ve taken a class once doesn’t mean you should never revisit the skill. Despite holding many trainings myself, I honestly learn or remember something new every time.

Happy World Heart Day! 🌎💗

Over the last year, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to support the American Heart Association in so many ways — from attending the iconic Heart Balls to volunteering at the Heart Walk, advocating at the Capitol, and personally fundraising more than $1,100 for continued lifesaving research.

Most impactful, though, has been hearing firsthand stories from people whose lives have been saved because of the AHA’s work.

Today, in addition to sharing some heart healthy reminders, I’m excited to kick off my annual American Heart Association fundraiser! 💗

🗣️I walk for all the unsung heroes. The ones who don’t wear capes.

I walk for the surgeons who saved my life, and the doctors and nurses who got me through.

I walk for every person who has donated, and for the researchers whose work turns those dollars into more time for people like me.

I’m alive for an extra six years of life I’ve been given because of funding for research. Six years I would not have had without them.

That’s why I showed up for the Heart Walk today. And that’s why I’ll keep showing up. ❤️ #extraordinary #hearttransplantsurvivor #leadership #greatful #bethechange

That’s why I’m raising CPR awareness and readiness at this year’s Heart Walk. Join me this Saturday at the CPR tent. Our intention is to have a member of every household present at the walk know how to perform CPR.
