Life Update! We created & launched an app! This has been a passion project for us and we’re so excited to announce it to the world. OhHi is a new way to stay connected. It’s been almost 10 days since our hike across the Grand Canyon and I still can’t stop thinking about it! You guys…we just hiked the Grand Canyon, from the south rim to the north rim. It was amazing and it was HARD. Here’s a sneak preview of our day in the canyon. Eclipse Day 2024, a day we’ve been anticipating for years! After experiencing totality in southeast Missouri in 2017, we said, “we have to be here in 2024!” How lucky are we to be able to see both in totality, so close to home & surrounded by family?! We don’t have any great photos of the eclipse (plenty of people have better skills than me!) but we banked lots of memories today! Check out stories for a recap of our day. BIG NEWS! “What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” - Mary Oliver We decided years ago that we would live this one life with intention. After much thought and multiple sunset chats, we feel it’s time for the next adventure—RV life! We’re looking forward to a different way of living, being closer to family & friends, and exploring our beautiful country. It’s certainly a bittersweet decision but we know the timing is right. We’ve learned a lot in 3 years of cruising—there are many things we’ll miss (and just about as many that we won’t miss!)—and we definitely plan to do it again someday. We’ll be listing Ajax for sale and plan to slowly make our way back to the US over the next couple months, with a stop in the Bahamas, of course! Until then, we’re soaking up every moment of this life on the water. We just completed a 5 day ocean passage on our sailboat (@where.is.ajax), our longest passage to date. We’re proud of us and grateful for each other. This is far from a dream life, but we’re on an adventure of a lifetime. We don’t know what’s next but as long as we’re together, it’ll be okay. For now, we’re literally going where the wind takes us.

Happy Belated Birthday to my captain, husband, and best friend. We were halfway through our passage on his birthday and weren’t able to give him the proper celebration. #lifeonthelean He thinks it’s pretty cool that he turned one year older in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
