🇩🇪 CISM-Militärweltmeisterschaften 2025 | Warendorf

3× Gold 🥇🥇🥇
1× Silber 🥈
2× Bronze 🥉🥉

Glückwunsch an unsere MedaillengewinnerInnen:
🥇 Lorena Brandl (–73 kg)
🥇 Vanessa Körndl (–67 kg)
🥇 Anastasia Rovithis (–57 kg)
🥈 Leonie Mayer (–53 kg)
🥉 Roja Rezaie (–57 kg)
🥉 Khaled Abdelhalim (–58 kg)

Danke an unser Trainerteam 💪
Sergej, Bernhard, Balazs & Max

My first assignment as the high performance director of the German Taekwondo national team at the G1 tournament in Bucharest, Romania, was an inspiring start to a new phase of my work. In addition to being responsible for the strategic direction of the team, I was also able to actively participate as a coach and directly support our athletes. This dual role provided me with valuable insights that I will use to elevate the team to the next level.

As the high performance director, my goal is to lead the team with a clear vision and a structured approach. I want to create an atmosphere where each individual can bring out their best, and we can present ourselves as a unified front. I emphasize comprehensive preparation, close collaboration, and a development strategy that strengthens both individual strengths and the team as a whole.

In Bucharest, the German team competed with seven athletes in a field of approximately 450 competitors. A special highlight was Feyyaz advancement to the finals, where he showcased an impressive performance at just 17 years old by defeating the reigning European champion from Spain. Additionally, two other athletes reached the quarter-finals and demonstrated strong performances.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire team for the commitment and energy each individual contributed. My special thanks also go to Nurettin Yilmaz, our assistant coach, whose dedication and support were instrumental to our success.
