I went to Nigeria for an artistic project and ended up taking away much more than I expected.

There’s so much that happens behind a show that people usually don’t see: flights, transfers, rehearsals, costume fittings, setup, lights, sound, waiting, exhaustion… and all those little moments before stepping into the spotlight.

And while all of that was happening, I was also discovering Lagos for the first time.

The energy of the city, the people, the food, the music… and especially Afrobeat, which I already loved before going, but feels completely different when you experience it there.

It was only a few days, but enough to really connect with the country and leave wanting to come back.

Thank you to my friends, all the artists, and the whole production team for sharing this experience and making it even more special.

Thank you, Nigeria. Such a beautiful country. 🇳🇬❤️
