Over 100K views on YouTube in TWO WEEKS!!! I know this number may seem small to people who have been doing this for a while. But as someone who was initially hesitant to put this film out on a brand new channel, with less than 10 subscribers and an age restriction, I couldn’t be happier with what we’ve accomplished so far. The odds have been against this project from the jump, but we keep pushing. To everyone that counted us out, you have no idea how much you mean to me. Thank you to everyone who has watched, shared and continues to spread the word 🧡 feature up next! LINK IN BIO🎥 ‘A college student is forced to confront his secret addiction after an unexpected run in with a familiar friend.’ ED - was an award winner for BEST ACTOR at both the IndieX Film Festival & Seattle Film Festival. During its festival run, it traveled the world from Hollywood & NYC to the cobblestone streets of Spain. The film is recognized for its gritty performances, claustrophobic cinematography & riveting sound design which takes you deeper into the mind of a young man who is slowly unraveling. We are excited to be returning to Utah with our absurdist romantic comedy short, JAVA JIVE, which will play New Year’s Day at @theutahfilmfestival! This story is rooted in the strange, shame-tinged experience of growing up as a religious minority in a culture that doesn’t particularly care for you. Ironically, we aren’t sure it’ll screen anywhere BUT Utah. 😂 Guess that remains to be seen… Nonetheless, we’re excited to be back! Join us on Jan 1 at 1:00PM MT for the block titled “Unexpected Companions” at the @midvalleyperformingartscenter in Taylorsville, UT to see our film on the big screen. A thirsty young man tries to resist a hot drink. We’re honored to share that A SCOUT IS KIND was selected for the prestigious 2025 Springville Art Festival, hosted by @springvillemuseum.
