SIEGE SHELL - Tank Mech
When Siege Shell arrives, the earth shakes before you see him. And when you see him, you move.

Designation SS-08
Name: Siege Shell — Tank Mech. The heaviest mech in the Panda Mech Corps, and the one with the biggest heart hidden under the thickest armor.

He was not built to be a mech. He WAS a tank. T-99P Tanksquad Unit 07 — an autonomous panda tank from the Old Army. During the Battle of the Ruined Trench, his entire squad was wiped out. Artillery, mines, smoke everywhere. His cannon jammed, his treads blown off, his AI screaming "retreat." But inside his hull, a panda cub was trapped — a civilian driver who had sneaked in.

The tank could have ejected. Instead, it overrode its own programming, sealed its doors, and used its body as a bunker. For 14 hours, it took direct hits, burning, but never opened. The cub lived. When rescue came, they found the tank still standing, armor melted, but alive.

They rebuilt him not as a tank, but as a mech — so he could protect with hands, not just hull. Now he is 12 feet tall, army green camo, just like this posture — tank treads for feet, six cannons on shoulders and arms, chest plate that reads SIEGE SHELL T-99P, panda face calm inside a helmet, standing in the ruins he once defended.

He is slow. He knows it. He laughs about it over comms — a deep, metallic chuckle. "You guys run. I'll walk. I'll get there when the fight needs ending." And he does. Iron Claw smashes a hole? Siege Shell widens it with artillery. Commander Apex needs cover? Siege Shell becomes the cover — kneeling, all cannons forward, a walking fortress.

He carries spare parts, ammo, and chocolate bars for the younger mechs. Pathfinder calls him "Uncle Shell." He pretends to be grumpy about it, but he has a tiny sticker inside his hatch that Pathfinder gave him — a hand-drawn panda.

He remembers being a tank that couldn't move. Now that he can walk, he vows no one will be left stuck again.

Motto: “I don't move fast. I move once, and everything else moves around me.”
