As this chapter of my life comes to a close, I can’t help but look back on everything the game of baseball has given me. From the very beginning, all I could ask for was a chance to play this game for as long as I could, and I’m incredibly grateful that I was able to do that. Through every early morning, long practice, and tough loss, this game shaped me into who I am today.

Baseball gave me more than just competition. It gave me friendships that turned into brothers, memories I’ll never forget, and lessons that go far beyond the field. I want to thank my parents for supporting me every step of the way, my coaches for always pushing me to be better, my teammates who made every moment a memory, and my fiancé who never stopped supporting me through busy baseball seasons.

This chapter of my life may have come to an end, but the memories and lessons from this game will stay with me forever. Thank you, baseball, for everything. I’m forever grateful for the journey.
