Welcome Back ‘Cats 😼🏀

At Halftime of today’s football game, the NMU Men’s Basketball Team received their Championship Rings and were recognized for winning the 2025-26 Regular Season GLIAC Title & NCAA Tournament run.

Last season, the Wildcats went 16-4 in Conference play and finished with the most wins in program history after ending the year 28-7. The ‘Cats earned the No. 1 overall seed in the GLIAC Tournament and qualified for the NCAA Tournament.

The 5th seeded ‘Cats would continue to build on their incredible season with a win over 4th seeded Rockhurst University in the DII NCAA Tournament where they closed the game on a 10-2 run in the final 32 seconds.

Congratulations on an incredible season and the fourth GLIAC Championship in the last four years.
