Gen Z uses AI the most yet trusts it the least.

We sat Bernie Sanders down with them for a messy debate that isn’t happening in the public right now.

If we’re going to live with AI and push for a future that benefits working people, we need more conversations like this one.

Went back to VidCon for 24 hours 🤯 and here’s what went down!

The event has sparked a lot of conversation this year, especially with Cannes Lions overlapping. But the two were never meant to be the same, and comparing them misses the point.

VidCon will always have a special place in my heart because it’s where so much of my career began. Interviewing creators and seeing their communities inspired me to launch the first YouTuber interview series, The Partners Project, after my first VidCon, which eventually led to @whatstrending

So much has changed since then. The fans who once waited in line to meet their favorite creators are now creators themselves. The creator economy has grown up, and so has VidCon.

This year I was back with @getpopstore and @pewresearch speaking on AI, creativity, and the future of the creator economy.

Always good to see familiar faces, meet new ones, and be reminded where it all started. ❤️

in no particular order: turned 30! cut my hair, threw a dinner party, finished a test knit, made a zine, read more zines, played a lot of mahjong, threw a powerpoint party, drank extra dirty martinis, and flipped through many many old journals. i've been journaling for over 20 years now, and i feel very lucky to be able to go back and read exactly what i was going through at every decade of my life. i hope 40 year old me looks back at my journal entries from when i was 30 with the same amusement and compassion that i have now reading the journal entries from when i was 10 and 20. i hope 50 year old me is still journaling. i hope 60 year old me is still not chopped. i pray that mango juul pods will be back by the time i'm 70. alive with pleasure!
