Happy National Sons Day to these 2! Aidan & Wyatt, I honestly don’t know how I got so lucky to be your mom. Watching you grow into the young men you are becoming is one of the greatest joys of my life.

I’m proud of so much…your baseball, your school, your hard work, your goals…but mostly, I’m proud of the people you are. You’re funny, kind, hardworking, stubborn as hell 😂 and you both have the biggest hearts.💜

Having you both away at college has definitely made my mama heart hurt. The house is way too quiet and I miss my boys like crazy. But I also love watching you chase your dreams and build lives of your own.

No matter how old you get, you’ll always be my babies. And I’ll always be your biggest fan, your loudest cheerleader and the luckiest mom in the world. I love you both more than you’ll ever know. 🥹💜

A few days ago, we left a little piece of our hearts in Iowa… and now, we left another piece in River Grove. 💜

Moving our senior in looked a little different this time around. It was still emotional and definitely not easy, but thankfully this move came with a whole lot more fun! 🥹

We got his room all set up, organized, made approximately 47 shopping runs because apparently college boys need EVERYTHING 😂, and then… we went to a party!

He’s living in a house off campus with a few of his baseball teammates this year, which makes this next chapter feel a little different. Three years ago, we were all freshman baseball parents, just getting to know each other. We started talking… and we haven’t stopped since! 😂 These boys have become like family, and their parents have become some of our very best friends. This group is truly something special, and we love hanging out together even when there isn’t a baseball game! 💜

Of course, getting to the party had to be an adventure. We took several trains, walked what felt like 7 miles, questioned every life choice we had made 😂, and FINALLY made it there. Totally worth it because we had the BEST time!

So yes, my mama heart is a little bruised from leaving another kid, but it’s also incredibly full. Watching him start this next chapter surrounded by teammates, friends and so many good people makes it just a little easier.

Two college drop offs. Two very different experiences. Both equally emotional. And somehow, I’m supposed to go home now and act like I don’t have a kid-sized hole TIMES TWO in my heart. 🥹

Here’s to senior year, new adventures, baseball, good friends, questionable decisions, and making memories along the way. We’re so proud of you, Aidan! 💜

Well… we officially dropped our freshman off at college. 🥹

Wyatt, your campus is absolutely beautiful, your room looks amazing (thanks to your mom and dad! 😂) , and seeing you all settled in makes my heart so happy. I know you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be, and I have no doubt you’re going to do amazing things here. You’ve worked so hard to get to this moment, and I couldn’t be more proud of you.

But let’s be real… knowing you’re going to do great things does not make this whole “my kid lives somewhere else now” thing any easier. 😂😭

I’m going to miss your face. I’m going to miss your hugs. I’m going to miss hearing you come through the door, your random conversations, your “Wyattisms that are catching on”, and honestly… even the stuff that drove me absolutely crazy. 😂

Go make this place yours, Wyatt. Make friends, make memories, work hard, have fun, and soak up every second of this next chapter.

We’ll be cheering you on from home every single step of the way.

I love you more than you’ll ever know, and I am SO incredibly proud to be your mom. Now go be great… but maybe don’t be too great because I still need you to miss me a little. 😂🥹💜

And yes, I will absolutely be the mom lurking around campus pretending I just “happened to be in the area.” 👀😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Riviera Maya 2026
🌴☀️🍹👙🏄🏻 🛁 🎳 🧖🏻‍♀️ 🔐🕺🏻☀️🌴

We relaxed. We ATE. We DRANK. We celebrated. The boys “surfed,” Jeff had his very own personal foam party, we bowled, we got pampered, we “escaped,” we made approximately 244 TikToks, and only argued a little bit. 😂

There were pool days, beach days, way too many drinks, way too much food, questionable dance moves, and enough sunscreen to supply a small country. (I brought 8 cans and STILL had to buy the boys a bottle of 50 SPF for $40!!! 😳 So obviously, sunscreen was their souvenir. Because nothing says “Remember our trip to Mexico” like a $40 bottle of sunscreen. 😂 🤦🏻‍♀️)

But most importantly, we made the kind of memories we’ll be talking about for years. 8 days, 5 people, countless laughs, a few arguments, approximately zero regrets. 💜

Now excuse us while we recover from vacation…because apparently we need a vacation from our vacation. 😂

Also…who’s going to bring me my coffee in the morning, refill my drink, make dinner AND do all this damn laundry?!? 🤦🏻‍♀️😫Back to reality is stupid. I want my all inclusive life back. 😢😊

Happy Father’s Day to the man who is SIMPLY THE BEST! He makes all the fun happen, can fix just about anything, never hesitates to help anyone who needs it, and somehow manages to be the loudest supporter in both the baseball bleachers and the dance auditorium. He is the first one to show up, the last one to leave, and the person everyone can count on when something needs to get done. His work ethic is unmatched, and no matter what life throws our way, he does whatever it takes to take care of his family and make sure we’re happy.

Our kids are incredibly lucky to have a dad who loves them so fiercely, cheers for them so proudly, and teaches them every day what dedication, kindness, and selflessness look like. And I am incredibly lucky that through every stage of life, every challenge, every celebration, and every crazy schedule, I’ve had my best friend by my side. There is no one else I would rather navigate this parenting journey with. Thank you for being my partner, my biggest supporter, and the person who makes even the hardest days easier just by being there.

We love you more than words can say. Happy Father’s Day, Babe! 💜
