Want to build explosive speed? 💥
Contrast training pairs a heavy lift with a fast, unweighted movement to train your nervous system for maximum power.

Try this sequence pairing:
🔹 Back Squat – 3 reps @ 80–85% 1RM
🔹 Vertical Jumps – 3 reps, max effort
🔹 Rest 2–3 minutes between sets
Repeat for 3–5 total sets.

🎥 Demonstration: @aidanjlee_ (~50% 1RM for visual)

This method bridges strength and speed—ideal for swimmers looking to power off the blocks and explode out of turns.

Not a thing learned

I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to attend McCallie. This is a place where others have shaped me into the man I am today and where my example will shape others. This school has allowed me to make brothers whose friendships will last a lifetime.

Secondly, I want to thank the McCallie lacrosse program for always being there for me—my coaches and the friends I’ve made. It might not have been the ending we wanted, but I will always be grateful to call them my brothers and to be a brick in the foundation of the program.
