“Bodies of Water” has been out for a whole week!

I want to thank you all for the messages and nice feedback on the album. I’m so happy it’s finally out. If you haven’t had the chance the link is in bio!

Track 02 • A Cove • It’s a song about feeling trapped in your own head. Unable to break old patterns. Sometimes life feels like that. Living too much inside of your negative thoughts and it can be frustrating. However this is a song I had a lot of fun with. It was one of the latest additions to the album and I was doing a lot of things for the first time. Percussion loops, real drums, recording my vocals, using a new synth. But as you can see it was really a joyful process in the studio :) Do you have any more comments/questions on the song/album? I will answer below :)

recorded and mixed by @mmurrietav
produced by us too! 👩🏻‍🍳🧑🏻‍🍳
mastered by @zinomikoreymastering 🐉
drums by dear @aidankeithlowe 🥁
piano, vocals and synths by me 🧚🏼

THANK YOU FOR LISTENING !!!

My second album “Bodies of Water” is out today. That is such a wild sentence to say. This album taught me so much. Helped me so much in moments where I felt like I couldn’t keep going. It was hard and easy to make at the same time. Music is my shelter. It always has been. And this body of work is the reflection of the past year. The highs and lows.

I am so incredibly grateful for the people that worked on this with me. I couldn’t have done it without you. @mmurrietav thank you for your friendship and the way you approach music with such playfulness. @evangildersleeve thank you for giving my beloved track six all that it needed to exist. @laraharp thank you for wanting to go into the depths of the pond with me and creating such a beautiful song. @maline.violine , @josefineandronic , @agnetaflora , @rrrmarta , @aidankeithlowe for playing my music in such a beautiful way. I tear up just thinking about it. Thank you @zinomikoreymastering for mastering it in the perfect way.

To the visual team thank you @mariamwoching for capturing me in such a special way. The way only you know how. To my sister @fabipaez for your love and visual expertise. It was so fun to make this together. To @samcronenberg.xyz for helping me share this story and creating a visual/video world. @september_klakow , @miners.art , @veras.vanity and @look_by_martha for your help to create this underwater world on the studio back in May.

Thank you for being here and letting this record in. It hold the truest form of me.

I want to thank my label @opiacommunity who supported me in this process and carefully continue to believe in me and my ideas. And to @initiativemusik for helping the project too!

Now it is yours and no longer only mine.

💧🤍💧

Enjoy!

what you used to dream about is out today.
it’s the third song from my new album Behar that’s out next month, on october 23. it’s about bosnia, about what happened, about my parents, about being the diaspora kid, about always existing in between everything. and about the new found comfort i’ve found in listening to people who also grew up in the aftermath of all of this.
you can find the song in my bio <3

”If it never happened” is out today. it’s the second song of my new album ”Behar” that’s out on october 23. behar is one of my favorite words in bosnian. it means blossoms - blossoms as in for example when the fruit trees start to blossom together with the awakening of spring, and how we’re washed by the light it brings. it’s the sign of the awakening of new life. i’ve been trying to hold on to this feeling a lot when making these songs.

i’ve been here before - live studio rehearsal <3

aidan and I were rehearsing at his studio a couple of weeks ago during the heatwave and we filmed a bit of it. i’ve really wanted to create a duo live set with live drums so it’s been a lot of fun to start rehearsing this. i’ve uploaded the full video on my youtube
