What a rollercoaster of a ski season just about wrapped up now, low snow yet some high vibes. I’m so thankful to slide on snow in the mountains & for the people I’m privileged to share it with. I’m already stoked for next preseason, but time to enjoy a lil summer for now ⛱️🌎

Wasn't expecting to catch my personal best northern pike a few nights ago but safe to say my year is already made. Catching a fish of this caliber is pretty special, especially at a spot where they aren't supposed to reside at. This is my first winter in 10 years not being able to ski. Before I broke my neck and back this summer I unfortunately tore my left ACL at Mt. Hood.

That being said, moving to Duluth almost 4 years ago was one of the best decisions I've made when it came to skiing. As soon as I moved up I started coaching a great group of young athletes 3/4 times a week for 3 years. I was skiing nearly everyday. I met Noah which led me to meeting his wife @kstarholden which also ended up landing me my first sponsorship @theskihut . I think it's every kids dream to "get spons'd" and not only that but premiere not just one but two of his street videos at a sentimental location @twintipnation @ursa_minor_brewing .

I have been fortunate enough to ski in 11 states and 5 countries (still a lot left on my bucket list). I looked back to 2022 on my camera roll (except faelan and I pick at Portland bins, 2021) and picked out some of my favorite memories. While doing this, I noticed that most of these memories were not necessarily on the ski hill or even in the streets. Warming up inside the lodge, playing pelt in the streets of Govy, going to the bar in Laax, meeting a friend on @newschoolers and ending up at his wedding @mayorofwalnutcreek, being IN one of my friends weddings @chef__boy__rd. Of course there are resorts that hold a special place in my heart: @powder_ridge , @spiritmtduluth @timberlinelodge to name a few. But the memories I really cherish are just times spent with the amazing people I have met through skiing. So many amazing friendships that I try to never take for granted.

Couldn't get everyone in the slideshow. Huge shout out to the OG ski crew ❤️ my escape as a youth. Shout out to everyone I met skiing at Meadows while living in Oregon.

Feeling bummed out with the recent snowfall but I hope that you all have a great season, miss u.
