A story only the Lord could have written.

He brought me back for another summer of faithful ministry and what a blessing it is that we serve a God who has prepared good plans to make us prosper. Thankful for Pine Cove City, team G, and His ultimate sacrifice.

Lord we love you a lot, because we know you first loved us. For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere.
Psalm 84

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” John 15:5-8

Halftime check in!!

Prayer for the rest of summer: Psalm 40 !!!

What a blessing it is to be able to serve for my entire summer especially through an opportunity only describable as the plan of God. He truly has “set my feet on a rock” and “put a new song in my mouth” that I may see the glory of His kingdom and give my every effort for the sake of the Gospel at camp. Troubles have always surrounded me even just over a year ago and yet his plan prevails. He uses the seasons where I am at my lowest and calls me out of them, for my worth is in the kingdom of God. I walk in His calling and He fills me, I shall never hunger or thirst for He is the bread of life.

“I am poor and needy… You are my help and deliverer; you are my God, do not delay.” Psalm 40:17

And for my new friends from first half and everyone else walking through life right now:
“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” 1 Corinthians 15:58
