We're excited to introduce the 2021 AIGA Maine board! Meet Tim Plumber, Jr: Tim leads the Value Consulting organization for Adobe’s Digital Media toolset. During his 20-year tenure at Adobe, he has worked with almost every tool in the Creative Cloud toolset from print, to web, to video, to UI design. He helps customer understand the business value of using these tools to create excellent customer experiences. In his current role, he provides quantification of that value for business stakeholders. More importantly, he helps customers make the internal case that design-led thinking is more than creation excellent graphic elements and projects. It’s a way to drive goals in all aspects of doing business, from product creation to marketing to sales. He’s been in Maine all of his life, and as a UMaine grad, he loves to use his skills to help local Maine businesses be the best they can be. He is also a father, a husband, a dog owner, and an avid LEGO builder—especially the Star Wars kits

We're excited to introduce our 2021 AIGA Maine board members!⠀ ⠀ Meet Julie Mattei:⠀ ⠀ Julie is a Creative Director at L.L.Bean where she oversees the brand advertising, social channels, branded content and visual improvement of the digital platforms. She joined L.L.Bean almost 6 years ago and that's what brought her and her family to Maine.⠀ ⠀ We try to go out to the beach weekly—no matter the season!—and my absolute favorite beaches are Kettle Cove in Cape Elizabeth and Sand Beach in Stonnington. I absolutely fell in love with Deer Isle/Stonnington and we try to go there every Summer. I hope to attend Haystack once my girls are older and that I can leave them behind for a week or two without any guilt!⠀ ⠀ If you had asked me a year ago, I would have said that it would be impossible to do my job remotely. 2020 proved me wrong and I couldn't be more proud of the work that the creative team at L.L.Bean has produced—all of that completely remote since March. We had to change the way we work every day but also how we produce and shoot video and photography. All these challenges and new problems to solve have made us a stronger and more united team than ever. We put our some of our best work out since I joined L.L.Bean, and, last but not least our customers absolutely loved it.
