An inspirational Day 1 at the AIGA Design Conference 2025 in LA! The day was filled with fantastic presentations, deep industry insights, and great conversations in the hallways. It was a pleasure to connect in person with so many talented people and make new connections. So many takeaways from the keynote speaker, Jacob Miller, product manager at Figma. Thank you to all f the organizers at the nation org, DEC and local chapters. #aigacnf #aiga #uwartdept #uwsp Cesar Rivera, National Board President, AIGA, Victoria Gerson, AIGA DEC Steering Committee. #71above

#gd_uwsp We hope finals week went smoothly for you designers! As we finish up our 2022 Fall semester lets take a quick look back at some of the awesome things that happened with the #gd_uwsp program 2-3: We held a 70’s themed photo shoot for students in the design program to get some fun headshot photos taken 4-5: AIGA held their NowHere conference and welcomed designer Kendra Maynard to talk with students, and have a portfolio review workshop 6-7: At the beginning of the year we had a tag making workshop as a fun way for students to meet others in the program, and let their creativity flow 8-10: The Carlsten Art Gallery in the NFAC highlighted professors work that they do outside of the classroom. Two of our GD professors, Samuel Dong Saul and Diana Hoover, showcased their own personal projects in the exhibition Enjoy this well deserved time off during winter break, you deserve it! See you next semester, and stay creative!
