Happy Birthday to my best friend, lover, and confidant! I am so proud of you and everything you have accomplished in this crazy fire horse year! Entertainer of the Year Hawai‘i 2026 Blessica Benton 2 weeks before this photo I called our mother Jerrica Benton to talk Showgirl of the Pacific stuff. I said to her, “What if Blessica ran EOY?” Behold, the pride of our esteemed houses, The overall House of Heavy Makeup from the House of Benton, the House of Dolcé, powered by the collective action of U.T.O.P.I.A Hawai‘i and the CSD Factory. I woke her up and asked her sheepishly- “so I talked to mom and we think you should run EOY” it landed on my birthday- so I asked her for a crown. 👑 To be blessed by bless is an honor and a privilege. I love you Promoting Showgirl of the Pacific at every news station possible! Co directors of programming at the Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival Creating Māhū magic with the house of Benton Seeing your hometown and breathing your Alaskan air and listening to Lana Del Rey driving 45 Meeting your friends and family I’ve heard so much about all the way in Ketchikan, Alaska. Watching the sunset with you and seeing the edge of the earth. Doing drags, having you backstage to zip, clip, stone, glue, brush, ect. And vice versa! Meeting you right before Covid when we both needed a friend the most. Programming the Eāhou film festival! Two festivals in one year!!!! (That’s literally so insane) Going to Seattle and documenting moms win for Miss Island Goddess Shivering in the Seattle air, dodging seagulls, yelling, “ALL HANDS ON DEEEECK” Celebrating our anniversary at ADEZ where we designed our first logo for a client. Opening our business bank account together for @aikanemedia On set for the Onipa‘a march The Kālele Media Training program partnering with HNN and Kam Schools Getting two certificates for culturally grounded story telling and web app design from Purple Mai‘a Honolulu Pride Lei Pool Party for your magazine editorial A love like ours is one built on trust, respect, acceptance, kindness, generosity, fairness, wanting to be the best, wanting to do the best, not giving up, trying new things, enjoying the same thing
