Dolly Parton has always understood the assignment💋✨

The secret to great television? It’s about finding the people who are already impossible to look away from.

Working in unscripted television has taught me that authenticity will always be more compelling than anything we could script. The right people, the right stories, and a little unexpected magic?

That’s what keeps audiences coming back.

Dolly knew it. And it’s something I think about every time we’re developing the next big thing. 📺

What’s a reality show you could watch over and over again? 👀

Mind on our sweet Henry today.

We always called Hen our anchor – the finishing flourish on our generation. But the truth is he’s always been more buoy than anchor. He lifted us in coming. The chef’s hat. The overalls. The s’mores. Then, unfathomably. He lifted us in going.

Our hearts – so deeply broken – work differently than they used to. We love each other harder and softer, bigger and smaller, more fragile, more fierce. We’d give all of it right back if we could. But our boy – this buoy, this anchor – calls us to soldier on.

Six years ago, when we sent Henry home, my beautiful brother @hughlagrotteria described him as the bass line of our family. At the time, we understood it to capture – so precisely – his foundational, rhythmic role in the orchestration of us. What we couldn’t have known then though is that Henry would – like any great bass line – continue to drive us forward. Invoking us to reach for each other sooner. Grip harder. Do cannonballs. I so wish we’d had more time. I’m certain we couldn’t have gotten a bigger gift.

2016 was a great year so I’ll go ahead and jump on the train ✌🏼

This year was full of new beginnings, new destinations, new friends, forever memories, donut photo obsessions, new phone filters that were terrible, lots of delicious food, memorable trips and a donut photoshoot surprise engagement that was pretty damn fantastic 🍩🤍🍩 2016

I love that we’re romanticizing 2016.
At that time, I was two years into my career and my life in Los Angeles. It feels like a whole other world, light years away from where I stand today, but I am grateful for 24-year-old me. She was bold, strong, and brave; I couldn’t be where I am without her.
Much has changed, but to the ones still with me in 2026, I’m grateful for you.
What a gift it is to walk along the path of life. 🧡🤘

You meet rare people in life who are always championing others, and that is absolutely @therealcarolinerhea. I’m excited about a new project on the horizon, and thank you, @ailee and @tayduren for including me. Together you are force and radiate such coherent, heart-forward energy and, as a trauma therapist, I know how deeply aligned relationships shape our sense of safety and possibility. Something special is coming. #netflix

ARE YOU MAD FOR IT?? @ailee and @lostintime23 gave my baby a gift of a lifetime, the concert of the year right next to home. I don’t even have the words for it … it was and is just all too much of a perfect thing. To hear the boys say “Hello Pasadena” was insane. I Can not believe my baby got to do this, IM MAD FOR IT 🙏🏼🙌🏻🫶🏻🎶🎼🎵🎤 @oasis #oasis #musicisart #artforever #iloveoasis - photos by @ailee @lostintime23 #music #pasadena
