What can a cartoon kid and his imaginary tiger teach us? A lot. But in this instance...

Too many people obsess over the blade steel, the chest rig, or the caliber before they even know how to stop a suckerpunch, terminate a takedown, or evade an edged weapon attack.

Hardware is USELESS if the software hasn't been upgraded.

Let us know: What's the best skills to learn before buying your first expensive piece of kit?

Martial arts and firearms?

Seems antithetical, but they’ve been connected for centuries across continents.

Japan. China. Germany.

These aren’t myths or modern reinterpretations. They’re documented examples of martial artists and military traditions adapting to flamethrowers, hand cannons, and eventually firearms as technology advanced.

The weapons changed.
The martial artist adapted.

And that raises an interesting question: Are we still adapting fast enough to the threats of our time?

What do you think?
