🎟️ THEATRE NEWS

AIMEE LOUISE BEVAN is currently working with @littleangeltheatre on their 600 Years on Strings exhibition, and will perform in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice from Aug 22 - Aug 30.

“We’re excited to introduce the 6 fantastic marionette trainees who will be bringing the Sorcerer’s Apprentice to life. Over the past four weeks, these puppeteers have taken on the complex skill of Marionette puppetry, through intensive training with Marionette puppeteering masters!

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice runs from 22-30 August.

This spellbinding show, inspired by Goethe’s classic poem, celebrates and restores the endangered art of marionette puppetry at Little Angel Theatre.”

It’s not all fun and games … sometimes you have to put your hands in something really unpleasant. Spitting Image: The Rest is Bullshit. Nigel Farage, that loveable rogue …. Ably assisted by @aimeelou_bevan #spittingimage #puppeteer #heavypuppets #unlikeablecharacters

Hello February! 🙂

I’ve had a little run recently, on my Checkerboard Cakes.

Made one for Aimee & Kevin’s engagement party in January. And one for Ian’s birthday party last week!

Bite-sized squares of choccie sweetness: dark, cocoa brownies, made with browned butter, crunchy walnuts, dark chocolate chunks and lashings of cocoa. And fragrant white choc coco blondies, with coconut, orange and cardamom, and white choc chunks.

All ingredients gluten-free, all organic.

The measuring, cutting and composing at the end is the fiddly bit - it takes time! But so worth the effort!

Up for a game? Just add Minstrels or Maltesers! Winner eats all? 🤭

Just what you need to brighten up a grey February day! 🍫🍊🍫🍊🍫🍊

What a treat to end 2025 with this very special show
❄️😸❄️

Performing family theatre at this time of year feels like pure magic - kids buzzing, multiple generations sitting side by side, and stories that really land. Feeling very grateful to have got to tell this one again and again, made even more special by an incredible team of legends. A total joy on and off stage.

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate Mog's Christmas! Thank you to everyone who's been part of the 3yr Mog journey! I loved giving her a festive glow up! (And having only Christmas Day off suited me just fine 😂.)

Mega thanks to all the wonderful staff at @royalderngate and especially @remy_mg_ for creating such a supportive, accommodating, joyful place - especially with some kids in tow 💛

Sometimes in life you get to be a part of something truly magical. 🐾

What an absolute joy beyond joys it has been to work with @thewardrobeensemble and @royalderngate this Christmas on this special show. I feel like I’ve waited my whole life to play a cat as wonderful as Mog.

The cast, the team, the show, the theatre have all been outstanding.

Time to go and rest these knees. 🐾 💜
