Mignon + Das Verlassne Mägdeline by Robert Schumann 🎶

While at AIMS in Graz, Austria, I had the opportunity to work with the incredible Kenneth Griffiths on a few pieces for our studio recital Robert Schumanns Menschenbilder. I am so grateful for such an incredible summer and thankful to everyone who made it so special! 💖

And a special shoutout to my AMAZING pianist, YounHee Choi! 🫶

What a magical journey this summer has been for me! Thanks to the many family, friends, and benefactors, I was able to travel to Europe this summer and spend six weeks in Graz, Austria with the most amazing faculty and fellow singers, many of whom I now call dear friends 🫶🏼 I had the privilege of singing at the very first orchestra concert. I also sang one of my favorite Spanish arias, sang for little children, and performed various scenes from Kurt Weill's repertoire.

The biggest achievement I made this summer was the growth in my voice and artistry thanks to my teacher at AIMS @christinamancheni and my coach at AIMS Joel Ayau, as well as the encouragement and support from the faculty and my friends. I've found so much more freedom and joy as a singer. Now as I finish my last year of my Masters and prepare to audition for young artist programs, I truly believe now that I can make a career out of this lifelong dream of mine, no matter how long it takes me.

Thank you to everyone for all your love and support! It truly means the whole world to me 🫶🏼

Love,

All praise, honor and glory to my Father God for continuing to bless me with opportunities to walk boldly in my purpose. I am deeply grateful for His love, guidance and direction over my life. 🙏🏽🤍

What a joy and honor it has been to be a part of the AIMS family. This summer gave me so much growth as a young artist and future teacher. I’m leaving with sweet memories, new inspiration and beautiful friendships.

A heartfelt thank you to Sarah Halley, Theresa Ruperd, Phyllis Pancella, John Greer and the entire AIMS faculty, coaches and pianists for pouring so much into us. Your guidance, encouragement and support have helped me grow in ways I will carry with me far beyond this summer.

To my Mom, Dad, family and friends—thank you will never be enough. Thank you for every prayer, every word of encouragement, every contribution, every check-in and every reminder that I was never walking this journey alone. Your love has carried me through so many moments and your belief in me continues to give me the courage to pursue this dream. I love you all. ❤️

See ya later Österreich 🇦🇹🫶🏾✨ until we meet again!
