You’ve been there, admit it! Here is the simple trick to fold up these pop up backdrops / reflectors. 🌮 Grab it like a taco on one side. 🙅 Cross your arms over. 🍔 And pop the bottom up under toward yourself creating a burger style fold. Or something like that, but once you get it you got it for life. It’s like riding a bike :) Share this if you’ve been there! #setlife #setlife🎥 #bts #videoproduction #videoproductioncompany #torontovideographer #torontovideography #torontovideoproduction

Today’s issue 10 featured artist is Ainsley Boyd @ainsleyboyd ! “The Fossils photographs were taken on a paleontology expedition with Dr. Martin Smith. We searched New York State for ancient remains in old quarries and sides of highways. At one site I discovered a discarded, waterlogged wedding portfolio. Abandoned and drenched from recent flooding the photographs reacted chemically creating amazing and colourful results. It was poetic to find this album while searching for fossils, these images represent another time in the history of photography. These weathered emulsion prints are the fossils of photography; altered, but here to remind us of our past.” For more, grab your copy of issue 10, link in bio!

I love being able to make function and accessibility feel good! Fashion can be so limiting but actually has so much potential to give people freedom. And it's extra special when I get to do a creative work exchange with a close friend 🥰 Posted @withregram • @ainsleyboyd Happy delivery today! A custom shirt by @vanessadesigns that will protect me from the sun in style!! I developed a sun allergy (polymorphic light eruption) about 5 years ago and since then have had to wear all sorts of spandex-y, swimsuit material shirt things to cover my arms and as much hand as possible to avoid the reactions. So excited to have a shirt that not only actually looks and feels like real clothing, but will also help me feel more like myself again!! Thank you @vanessadesigns #MadeByVMay

A year ago today, after realising that an offer to hand out latex gloves and sanitise all the seats wasn't going to cut it, we moved my in-person live storytelling show online. I had no idea how it would go. My best guess was either that no one would show, or that at best, we'd get the storytellers but lose the intimacy we all got from being in the same room. What in fact happened knocked me sideways: there is something *totally magical* about listening to stories with people where, unlike in a venue, you can see everyone [who has their camera on] face-to-face. But even more than that, the intimacy you get from watching an audience in their own living rooms is like nothing else. In the audience were a couple, listening on a couch. Part-way through, their kid came in, wrapped in a blanket, presumably on their way to bed. Remembering that image still loosens something in my chest. I for sure learned some things along the way (namely, unmuting just 5 people to have them laugh at the jokes is worse than no laughter at all), and we created some new ones, like bringing in ASL interpreters. And, as when it was live, running this show remains one of my ALL-TIME favourite things I've ever got to be part of. I can't believe my luck. The next show is this coming Tues March 30th, 7:30pm ET, online. I've asked the storyteller who makes me laugh more than anyone else — Hisham Kelati — to headline, and we'll have four brand-new to TST (and a couple of them, brand new to ever doing ANYTHING like this) storytellers whose stories will take you all around the world and make you want to laugh, cry and hug your screen. Tickets are Pay What You Can (really!) and you can find yours at the first link in my bio or at yesyesmarsha.com/truestories.
