A brave English soul risking it all riding from England to … everywhere. I had the pleasure to bump into him near Xinjiang, at a small city called LiangZhou ( part of Silk Road ) after he indulged his morning coffee and was about to leave. I caught him at the last minute, holding two 1.5l bottle water, one hand each as I was getting something from the shop near my hotel and thought “ hey, this is an interesting one” thinking it’s a local’s bike since the bike was covered in graffiti & well wishes in chinese writing… Thinking maybe another uni student doing a road trip after graduation. I had a brief yet interesting chat with him. Best of luck to you Daniel.

Days 108-112 of cycling from the Uk to Australia 🚴‍♂️ probably the hardest cycling days I’ve done so far. Really hot we had to hide from the sun whenever we got the chance.

"You can't be too stressed about cycling around the world, because it's so hard to comprehend how hard it is," @ainsworth_daniel said before he headed off to ride 29,000km around the world on a cargo bike built by prisoners (who had never seen a cargo bike before) at Barlinnie prison.

The how and the why behind this adventure are quite the story, and you can read all about it at escapecollective.com.

Wildes Kasachstan 🇰🇿

What a ride!
Spoiler: es wird noch heißer!🔥

Southside Glasgow has always had whispers of strange happenings. Flickering streetlights. Disappearing pints. The occasional fox staring directly into your soul. But every Wednesday at 8pm, something truly mystical happens at the Victoria Road entrance to Queen’s Park — a stylish little peloton appears like a summoned spell, clipped in and ready to roll.

That’s @magiccyclingclub

Part cycling club, part rolling social club, Magic CC is the Wednesday night ride where everybody’s welcome and you never quite know who you’ll end up riding beside. One week it’s a photographer. Next week it’s a designer, a DJ, someone training for absolutely nothing, or someone who just wanted an excuse to get out the house and ended up finding their people.

Fast riders, slow riders, gravel lovers, roadies, café stop specialists and “just here for the vibes” cyclists — all welcome. The only real requirement is a bike and a willingness to embrace a little midweek magic.

Expect smooth spins, questionable route choices, elite-level chat, and friendships forged somewhere between Queen’s Park and a late-night portion of chips. It’s less about watts and more about good energy, good people and seeing where the night takes you.

Every Wednesday. 8pm. Victoria Road gates, Queen’s Park. More info via Magic CC

Bring your bike. Bring your pals. Bring lights. The Magic only works if you show up. 🪄

Daniel from Scotland chasing the Guinness record - cycling around the world on cargo bike which he designed and made by prisoners. Fully loaded 60kg+. Great mate and big respect for what he does. It was privilege to cycle with him!
