Something feels different this year 🫶🏻

I’m kicking off my 5th season guiding for Kanab Tour Company and I can honestly say the last few weeks I feel like I’m finally tapping into my true potential…years past my state of being has been painfully diminished by my struggles with addiction. I’m 596 days sober and my body and mind are truly aligning for the first time, unrestricted from haze or hangover, sickness or stress, headache or heart hurt.

My job, my team, the incredible people I work for, and the friends I get to make along the way have played a huge part in my sobriety. I’m so lucky that I find support every time I need to look for it. I’m so thankful I’m able to do what I love every single day.

I’m free and I’m me and it feels so fucking good 🙌🏻

I have met some incredible people on my journey through sobriety. @cycodad410ofk wandered into the cafe with his awesome wife Tracy a few years ago and wanted to be friends. I gave them my card and rolled my eyes thinking how many times I’ve heard that before. Approaching my birthday weekend some phone calls happen and @hmiller410 and I finally set up the best ATV ride possible with her fam. We shared stories and laughs and all the best snacks. I feel so fucking blessed that life has led me down this path. Thank you Scott, Tracy, Travis, and Heather for being so fuckin awesome and inspiring 💘 Another sober birthday and priceless memories made 🙏🏻
I love you guys!! 🙌🏻🛞🚩
