And just like that, our June-July volunteer flow comes to a close

What started as a new beginning slowly turned into something much more… a collection of moments, conversations, challenges, laughs, and memories that we’ll carry with us long after this chapter ends. 💛

These past two months at OCC have been filled with growth, discovery, and experiences that made this journey truly special. Every person brought something unique to this flow; their energy, their stories, their perspectives, and their presence.

Together, we formed new friendships, stepped outside our comfort zones, learned from each other, and created memories that will stay with us.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this experience unforgettable. To the people who supported, encouraged, inspired, and shared this journey with us, this chapter wouldn’t have been the same without you🤍

Thank you and hope our paths cross again! 🌱✨

Our volunteer programme is funded by the European Union through the European Solidarity Corps.

Υ.Γ.2: Το Παίζεις της Καλομοίρας έπαιζε στη καντίνα που κάτσαμε και κάναμε μπάνιο. Είχα να το ακούσω χρόνια και είχα ξεχάσει καν ότι υπάρχει. Μα καλά, τι κομματάρα έχει βγάλει;

I went to Aegina and bought a t-shirt with the statue of Jesus in Brazil and Ronaldinho. Something similar had happened before when I went to Nafplio and got a souvenir figurine of the Acropolis.

The secret is to be aware of the place and time of everything.

I also met @airmail___ from the USA on the boat. Nikos practiced his Greek, and I practiced my English, so I was speaking English, he was speaking Greek, and we ended up communicating almost the whole day like that, as if our languages had reversed.

P.S.1: I’m exchanging 3 months of vacation in Aegina for 3 months of living in Athens. Serious offers only.

P.S.2: "Paizeis" by Kalomira was playing at the canteen where we sat and swam. I hadn’t heard it in years and had almost forgotten it existed. Okay guys, what a hit song she released!

Been helping @airmail___ out with marketing and his debut album, a.m. Continental, is out today!

The focus single “Won’t You” has been on repeat for weeks, and I’m so glad @thelineofbestfit featured it in their Discovery section. Huge thanks to @clinicallydabest for the kind words!

“Won’t You” is a swirling, woozy cut of indie folk built for a backcountry dive’s last call. Every guitar line twinkles like a mirror ball, each lyric a plea for love that survives uncertainty... It’s the sort of song that conjures the exact expanse of road that inspired it.”

Niko Francis has created something special here—you should all go give it a listen!
